Bosch GSB 180-LI Cordless Drill

Got a Bosch GSB 180-LI cordless drill as a replacement for my old wired drill. I was looking for the cheapest cordless drill that is able to do masonry drilling for some time. And it has to be from a reputable brand. Other reputable brands were on my list too, like Makita, Dewalt and Hitachi.

This Bosch GSB180-LI was the cheapest among the cordless 18V drill of similar specs. I had some doubts whether it has enough power and torque to drill into my brickwall that has thick concrete. But to my surprise, it managed to drill without fuss; not the easiest but not too much effort either. Make sure to pair it with good quality bits and correct ones for the job.

Redmi 5A - New Update V9.2.2.0.NCKMIEK Stable ROM

Redmi 5A just got a new Stable ROM update V9.2.2.0.NCKMIEK. Release notes were not viewable for alot of people. So here are the changes:

Fix - Couldn't share items in Whatsapp in some cases (01-29)
Fix - Devices wouldn't boot in some cases (01-29)

Security
Fix - Cards weren't updated fully (01-29)

Android security patch is updated to January 2018 patch also.

Mounting Bracket for Xiaomi Da Fang Smart Camera

I have been browsing for a cheap and suitable mounting bracket for the Xiaomi Da Fang Smart Camera. Chose this mounting bracket that has a mid-arm with ball-joints on both ends, which makes it flexible for various positions.

Mounting bracket with 1/4" male threaded screw.

The mount came with 3 screws and 3 wall plugs. If you are mounting it on dry/plasterboard walls or ceiling, it is a good idea to replace those plugs with drywall plugs/anchors. Make sure the size of the plugs matches the size of the screws as well.

This type of mounting bracket may sell at the same price but their quality can vary. It's probably better to purchase one unit to test it out first. Check out the photos below.

The better quality bracket has a thicker base plate. On the inferior one, base plate is already uneven because it's made of soft and thin material.
