Well, I just got a Redmi Note ( Enhanced Version ) here in my hands. Let's see what is inside the Xiaomi box.

From left to right; Notification light (not visible in this photo), front facing camera, earpiece, sensor.

Redmi Note; top mic and 3.5mm jack

Redmi Note dual sim and micro sd card slot in the middle. 1 WCDMA/GSM (3G) slot, 1 GSM(2G) slot and Microsd card slot.

Remove battery to insert MicroSD card, and Sim card.

Battery level at first charge. The charging(notification) light in red.

 

Redmi 1S v31 ROM ( version 31 ) is currently under testing

Xiaomi is currently testing v31 ROM for the Redmi 1S. This is good news for Redmi 1S users as it supposedly improves RAM management, heat issue and other improvements.

Let's hope Xiaomi will put out a better optimized software compared to the international version (JHCMIBE29.0), China version (JHCCNBE29.0) or even the JHCCNBD24.0 ROM.

Redmi 1S - Change Notification lights

On the Xiaomi Redmi 1S there are various colours that you can choose from, for your notification light.

Here's how.

Goto 'Settings' on your homescreen.

Under the General Settings tab, scroll down to Device section, then choose 'Notification light'.

Tap on Notifications light color, Calls light color or Messages light color.

Redmi 1S available notification light colors are blue, red, yellow, green, cyan, white and violet.
