Yi Dashcam Mobile App has a brand new look

Yi Technology just released a new version of the Yi Smart Dash Camera app on Google Play store. Version 2.0 has a new look with darker theme to it and more organized compared to the previous version. Load times seem to be slightly faster, from loading thumbnails to navigation.

Everything seems to be working fine with the Yi Dashcam that's on V-0.08.013 firmware. Will observe further for a week or two.

Here are some screenshots of version 2.0.

Windows 10 Anniversary update and AMD GPUs

When the Windows 10 Anniversary update version 1607 was released in early August this year, it caused quite a problem for some users due to software conflicts and driver incompatibility. I was particularly worried about the huge number of AMD GPU users had issues due to the update because I have two computers with AMD GPUs.

So logically, I ticked 'defer upgrades' just to be safe.

Fast forward, and now I have finally updated to Windows 10 version 1607 on both desktops that have dedicated AMD GPUs.

One is a Sapphire R7 265 and other one is Sapphire HD6770. Both runs smoothly without problems on the Windows 10 Anniversary update. The Sapphire R7 265 is on AMD driver version 16.9.2. Sapphire HD6770 is on the lastest updatable driver.

Just a heads up for those who are with these GPUs.
